Ebony is WALKING!! and more...

YAY!! I can officially say that Ebony is walking, not just taking steps here and there, but actually choosing to walk over crawling!! She now stands herself up in the middle of nowhere! She is very proud of herself and if no-one cheers for her, she'll clap for herself!! I can finally put pretty dresses on her and they wont get totally ruined by stains and holes from crawling!

Sometimes I think she is too smart... One time Grandma gave her a lolly from her bag... and now this is what she does!!!!

She made a face with her food, a carrot nose, pickled onion eyes, a capsicum mouth and cheese ears!! I asked her if I could take a photo of her with her beautiful food face... and this is the response I got!!! Proving what it says on her dress... She does like to dance till she gets dizzy!

This is her not so sweet side!! She was told it was time for bed... Not sure she liked that idea!!

Bubbles!!!

For her birthday Ashlyn got a set with bubble mixture and a whole bunch of different bubble blowers... I managed to get these shots of her one night playing with her bubbles!!! She loves blowing bubbles!

Ashlyn's birthday

Ashlyn was so excited that it was finally her birthday!!! Here she is sitting waiting patiently for some pressies...

The card we gave her had a badge on it!! Her first ever birthday badge! She was so proud of it she wanted to wear it right away!!

The cake I spent ages on the night before!!! When I asked Ashlyn a few days before her birthday what she would like for her birthday the answer was... 'A Dora Cake!!' And that was all she wanted!

I love when the kids are active and doing fun things. At the moment Ashlyn's favourite thing to do is dance. With these dancing pictures she was actually dancing to PINK! I think she loves her songs just as much as I do :) The song she is dancing to is called "So What?"

Halfway through dancing she realised she didn't have her dancing shoes on so she quickly put them on :) She loves to dress up so I bought her this special dancing dress, and she absoloutely loves it!

The girls love to play outside, and our tree was dropping leaves. What a perfect photo opportunity! We shook the tree a little and Ebony was trying to catch the leaves. Mum and I got so many nice pics of the girls in the leaves! :)

After a while Ebony decided the leaves had to go back on the tree!!! She tried so hard! :)

Ebony's 1st Birthday

Ebony turned one on the 16th of Feb '09. I think her sister Ashlyn was more excited than she was, especially when it came to opening pressies!!

She got a nice dinner set from Uncle Todd...
